Two Complaints-Call of Duty 4 Edition

I have two, relatively small complaints.
One is about the matchmaking system, one is about Shipment.

First of all,
Matchmaking does what it says. It matches you with other players.
It surprises me however, how in such a good game, no effort could be put into a system that would match you up to people who are relativly close to your level.
Now, I love the system and think it represents experience and skill, however i can see why you would not matchmake by level because it doesn’t always represent skill truthfully. However I think it would have been for the better if it tryed to match 5s with 1-10s instead of a bunch of 44s on prestige.

I’ll be brief about this one.
The map Shipment.

Fails.
Utterly, and completely fails.
It has no strategy. Spraying will hit something 90% of the time.
I can see enemies from where i spawn, just a few mere pixels from me.
Every time I throw a grenade I seem to get at least two kills.
Every time I spawn I die within seconds.
Every time I play someone camps in a container in the middle, grabbing sometimes 1000 points.

Sorry again, been playing Assassin’s Creed-Call of Duty 4

Since I’ve been playing both for a little while I’ll give my small analysis on both:

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Pros:
Excellent graphic design, one of the most photo realistic games I’ve ever seen.
Intense like the games before it, huge battles fought with modern weapons.
A surprisingly great storyline from the guys at IW, great to follow has some very good dramatic moments.*imo*
Keeps you coming back to single player with achievements, note that there are no achievements for multiplayer, there is also an arcade mode which will tally points as you get kills in a mission, has leaderboards.
An amazing competitive multiplayer, with great levels and modes.
Multiplayer has a great experience system that has you leveling up often and keeps you playing, has challenges like getting a certain amount of kills with a weapon that will give you an experience boost, all the way up to level 60 at the moment, IW plans to raise the limit soon.
You can customize your online player with perks, which give small upgrades like a rocket launcher, extra bullet damage, etc., actually end up making big differences online.

Cons:
Quickmatch system doesn’t put in a good effort to place you with people of a level near yours.
No Co-Op mode.
Doesn’t get the attention it deserves, to be honest.

Assassin’s Creed

Pros:
Crowd reacts to your every move.
Very smooth controls.
Not ever too difficult, everything balances out well.
Combat system provides for different situations the first few times.

Cons:
Very Repetitive-Stab, stab, listen in on someone, stab, climb, fight, run, long dialogue, assassination, another long dialogue, long horse ride, repeat.
Story can be confusing at times, as is the ending.

Box is in(Out) Sorry, No pics.

Box arrived on Wednesday and Shipped out Thursday Afternoon.
I put it in a stack with 20 other broken 360s heading out to Microsoft. The guy says he gets at least twenty a week. Just one store in a pretty small town. Well, at least other people get to suffer with me.

I’ll probably get it later in the month. Hopefully before Call of Duty 4 releases. However, that means I don’t get to play Halo that much because I’ll be playing Call of Duty. Ugh. I’m not as worried about Guitar Hero III, I’m getting that later in the year(Along with my new Nano I hope.)

Schools going a little better now, I still can’t stand to sit through “Exploring Music” for 40 minutes every other day, but my Math grades are improving.

Also, I can’t believe the Yankees lost because some bugs. At least we’re still better than the Mets 😛
Not like the Jets or Islanders are gonna do much better. Meh.
